A Geographical Indication or GI denotes the uniqueness of a product in terms of its location of production. For instance, Darjeeling Tea, Champagne, Feta cheese, and Penja pepper are indications of the product and the location in which it is produced. A GI tag can be applied to a wide range of products including:
