Service charge and replacement of faulty components are free of cost. However, all parts that are susceptible to wear and tear (for example, oil seal, washers, and fasteners, etc) are chargeable. The authorised service centre will be able to tell you if you will be charged for any component.
Yes, post service of the product a service report containing the root cause for the failure and the preventive actions to be taken is provided by the authorised service centre.
