Please follow the below procedure for sewage pump installation

  1. Locate the tank near the sewer line.
  2. Place the pump in the basin and connect the discharge line to the pump. Two pipe openings are placed in the sewage and lid.
  3. For sanitary purposes, sewage tanks must be sealed with an air-tight cover, so make sure the pump discharge is aligned with cover’s discharge port.
  4. Install a check valve in a horizontal section of the discharge line. This will work as a back flow preventer.
  5. Install and adjust the liquid level sensors, according to the model of pump purchased. Pour water into the septic tank several times while testing the activation and turn off switch positions.
  6. When satisfied with the pumps performance, make sure you seal the sewage tank cover and vent the tank properly.
  7. To prevent dirt and debris from entering the tank, complete all cement flatwork before proceeding further.
